BioFleax® returned to Shanghai Fashion Week SS2027 for the second consecutive year, held from 8 to 12 October, participating in the ULIO Sustainability Space and SHAN Future Forum to contribute to industry dialogue on material innovation and the future of fashion.
The ULIO Sustainability Space showcased BioFleax’s plant-based textile materials, developed through the conversion of renewable biomass and recovered textile resources. Applications spanning fibers, fabrics and garment components demonstrated the platform’s versatility and potential for circular textile development.
Under the theme Human Algo-Rhythm, SHAN Future Forum explored the evolving relationship between technology, human creativity and ecological systems. BioFleax contributed its material perspective, highlighting how biomass conversion and material engineering can expand the possibilities of next-generation textiles.
By bringing material science into dialogue with design, technology and ecological thinking, BioFleax contributes to a more circular and forward-looking vision for the future of fashion.
