Leaf Bio at VivaTech 2026: How Material Technology Enables Sustainable Transformation

EVENTS & INDUSTRY
PARIS, France – 24 June 2026

Leaf Bio was invited in VivaTech 2026, Europe’s largest technology and innovation event, held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 17 to 20 June, presenting its material technology alongside startups, tech leaders, and corporations addressing global challenges through technology.

The 2026 edition of VivaTech centered heavily on Applied DeepTech and GreenTech, showcasing physical innovations designed to solve structural global challenges. Sustainability, Climate & Mobility was one of VivaTech’s key conference tracks. Leaf Bio showcased its technology innovation: producing high‑performance materials without fossil resources. Through molecular engineering, Leaf Bio converts non‑food biomass and recycled textiles into plant‑based material that match or exceed the performance of conventional materials. This approach enables the production of textiles and packaging with lower carbon impact, without compromising functionality.

At the booth, Leaf Bio showcased BioFleax and ECOPEF. BioFleax is a plant‑based performance material platform for textile, offers inherent UV protection, antimicrobial properties, moisture management, and fabric softness — properties suited for sportswear, outdoor apparel, and lifestyle fashion. ECOPEF is a high-performance plant-based material system for packaging, provides high oxygen and CO₂ barrier properties, thermal stability, and food‑contact safety for beverages, sensitive products and beyond.

Leaf Bio’s presentation attracted sustained interest from multiple global corporations, with ongoing discussions held throughout the event. For Leaf Bio, VivaTech 2026 marked a significant step at a premier global technology platform, demonstrating how material innovation can enable sustainable transformation — by delivering high‑performance materials without fossil resources, at scale and with proven commercial viability.
